Movement

and Confrontation

“This group of works is about the movement of feet or rather the movement of couples of feet in unison. The parts are constructed to suggest rotation and some are coupled even further as shadows of these rotating entities. Why did I not use real means of movement using perhaps some electrical device to bring the foot even further? To me the suggestion of rotation is the experience I am looking for, not actual movement. True to my craft of sculpture it is thus the most traditional and classic sculpture I am making here.”
