fired clay

multiple pieces, 70 x 70 x 10cm

“First I attack the mound of clay with rhythmic blows at intervals that differ in intensity thus creating a tense living surface.

When fired, I place the slab on a pottery wheel and let it turn. When the clay begins to actually move on it’s axis, the effect of waves, emphasized by the play of light and shadow, is formed.”
